The product is deliberately pointless. The handling of your data is not. This page describes exactly what is kept and why, in plain terms.
What is collected
Your email address, so the receipt can be sent to you. That is the only piece of personal information this site asks for.
Alongside it we store what the purchase was: the amount, the currency, the date, the identifier Stripe gave the payment, and the public receipt number.
What is not collected
There are no accounts, so there is no password and no profile. Your card details are never sent to this site — they go directly from your browser to Stripe, and we never see or store them.
There is no advertising, no tracking pixel, no analytics profile and no third party receives your email address for marketing.
What is public
Every receipt has a permanent public page at a sequential address, which is what makes it shareable. That page shows the receipt number, the date, the amount and the currency.
Your email address never appears on it, is never included in the downloadable receipt image, and is never returned by any public part of this site.
Who else is involved
Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card details under its own privacy policy. The site and its database are hosted by infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf.
How long it is kept
Receipts are permanent — the public link is meant to keep working, and the payment record has to be retained for accounting purposes.
If you want your email address removed from a receipt, ask and it will be erased. The receipt itself stays, because it contains nothing personal.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Get in touch and it will be dealt with.
