Nothing. This is not a figure of speech. You pay £1.00 and no product, service, file, benefit or entitlement is provided in return.

What you receive is a receipt: a record confirming that the payment was made and that nothing was supplied. The receipt is the entire deliverable.

£1.00 in pounds sterling, charged once. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no account to cancel.

The receipt is issued immediately on payment, so the purchase is complete at once. By buying, you agree that supply begins straight away.

That said: if you bought this by mistake, or you did not understand what you were buying, ask for your pound back and you will get it. The joke is not worth anyone feeling cheated.

Every receipt has a permanent public page at a sequential address, so that it can be shared. Anyone with the link, or anyone who guesses the number, can view it.

It shows only the receipt number, date, amount and currency. Your email address is not on it.

This is a small site running a small joke. It may be unavailable, and receipts may occasionally take a moment to be issued. If a payment succeeds, the receipt will be issued and emailed to you even if the page did not load at the time.

Nothing was supplied, so nothing can malfunction. Our liability is limited to refunding the amount you paid. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
